A seasoned business development and investments professional, John combines 25 years of experience and a passion for energy to lead XNG with a sophisticated balance of entrepreneurialism and deep industry knowledge. Prior to XNG, John served as Managing Director of Devonshire Investors, a division of Fidelity Investments, in Boston. He is a graduate of Connecticut College and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management.

Drawing on nearly two decades of legal practice and leadership positions, Seth delivers high-level expertise and sound guidance to XNG and its partners. As the former Senior Legal Counsel for Fidelity Ventures and Devonshire Investors, and COO of OnCorps, LLC, Seth is a skilled advisor providing valuable strategic direction to the company. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and Boston College School of Law.

Doug Hanson

Entrenched in the natural gas and liquid natural gas industry, Doug provides a sophisticated knowledge and expertise to XNG. A former Project Engineer/Manager with CHI Engineering Services, he brings superior technical and operational abilities, ensuring that all XNG systems are designed and function with the greatest efficiency and safety at all times. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and served in Army Aviation before transitioning to a career in the natural gas industry.

Jeff R. Ciampa
Vice President Operations

Jeffrey R. Ciampa joined XNG as Vice President Operations in 2017 with a proven track record in the oil & energy, construction, and marine industries. He has extensive operational and logistics experience in transportation including road, rail and marine operations. He holds an M.B.A. from Franklin Pierce University, a B.S. from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and was a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health from 1997 to 2007.

Vice President, Business Development

Michael brings 19 years of natural gas industry experience as part of his 33 year career in commodity marketing. Prior to XNG, he developed virtual pipeline markets for NG Advantage. There, Michael created new products and services for customers such as utilities, pipelines, power plants and industrial customers. Michael is passionate about innovative solutions that enable renewable gas and conventional gas to work in tandem with renewable power to serve today's energy needs, while also bridging the transition to a low carbon future. He is a graduate of Ohio State University and received his MBA in Finance from the Fogelman College of Business at the University of Memphis.

Tracy Anne joined XNG in 2018 as the Human Resources Generalist, reporting to John Nahill. She has nine years of Human Resources experience, including non-profit. Tracy Anne also has in-depth marketing experience from previous roles at Hewlett Packard, Black Duck Software, and Concerto Software. She is a graduate of Le Moyne College.

Ed joined XNG in 2019 as the head of Logistics with over seventeen years of Operations Management experience. He previously held Senior and Executive level positions at Fedex and FreshDirect where he led Logistics Operations, was responsible for contract negotiations, Safety, and vendor management. Ed is a graduate of Columbia University.

Joeby Connell
Assistant Corporate Controller

Joeby joined XNG in 2016 as the Assistant Corporate Controller. She is an accomplished accounting professional of nearly twenty years with a distinct background in service and distribution. Joeby leads front and back office functions, is responsible for the accounting team and manages temporary staffing needs and was at the helm of the implementation of an upgraded payroll system (ADP). Joeby is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University.

Vice President of Natural Gas Procurement

Dan joined XNG in 2014 as the VP Natural Gas Procurement. He brings twenty five years of energy industry experience  including physical and financial trading, deal structure, risk management, business analytics and state and federal regulatory affairs. Prior to joining XNG Dan spent eleven years at Sprague Energy, serving as Director of Natural Gas Business Analysis and other commercial positions. In his earlier career he was at AllEnergy Gas Marketing where he was responsible for pricing, capacity management and regulatory affairs. He is a  graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, SB in Physics, Minor in Science, Technology and Society.

Director of Safety

Tom recently joined XNG to lead even higher standards of employee training and qualification, on road safety, and site safety and compliance.

Tom joins us with a 25-year career in Environmental Health and Safety with a focus on logistics.  During his career he has worked for Dean Foods, Pepsico and Supervalu.  He has experience in developing and implementing accident prevention programs, policies and procedures to ensure continuous safe working conditions with a focus of preventing injury and collisions. His understanding of risk management and loss control strategies will help XNG achieve even higher levels of safety and employee training and qualification as XNG continues to grow and expand. He is a graduate of Nichols College and has an MBA from Framingham State University.
